Executive Summary

Le Chateau apartments are located on Atlanta Highway across from K-Mart. The apartment complex is one of many occupied by college students in the Athens area. The apartment manager, Deanna Williams expressed the desire to reduce costs spent on supplies and the need to make the maintenance process more efficient. After spending significant time in the shop and with the workers we concluded that Le Chateau was in desperate need of an inventory system. We came to this conclusion using some of the tools we learned in Management 320, such as a flow chart and a fishbone diagram. We organized the inventory and established a process that resulted in reduced inventory costs in the second week of implementation.
