After three weeks of testing the solution and working around our complications, we have had excellent results. The addition of the form that provides key information for important decisions, has improved the number of decisions it took for each girl to decide whether the proposal received was a GBC or a TDP. Before the solution, the girls had five decisions to make in deciding which proposal was received. As seen on the flowchart below, now the girls only have one decision. The form provides the information they need in quickly deciding between a GBC and a TDP.

The addition of the form also tremendously improved the time it takes for each girl to work all proposals through their department. The pareto chart above shows the manhours involved in processing GBC and TDP proposals between Ashlei and Oleysa over a three week period. Before implementing the solution it took Ashlei one hour to perform all tasks associated with each proposal and it took Oleysa forty-five minutes. After implementing the solution Ashlei improved to thirty-five minutes per proposal and Oleysa improved to twenty-five minutes per proposal. Both girls improved their time by at least twenty minutes when all key facts were given to them on the form. The simple form that was added made both girls more efficient and improved the quality of the work they do.
