Service Quest began with a plan to improve the selling process at Ghostdance Designs, a T-shirt company. The undesirable effects of the outdated method of selling were the immense amount of time and money consumed. The research team at Service Quest performed a causal analysis on the company, finding the root of the problems to be a lack of personal flexibility, regarding time and money, by the owner. Service Quest�s solution to put an on-line T-shirt catalog on the World Wide Web received positive feedback from the owner of Ghostdance Designs, Haywood Thomas. Improvement was seen as the amount of time and money invested in the selling process decreased.
