EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Kappa Delta Sorority at the University of Georgia used chapter
meetings as the basic means of communicating to its membership.
Data revealed many of the women missed chapter meetings and were
uninformed about what took place at the meetings. This project improved
the communication process of Kappa Delta through the use of e-mail,
whereby most members are subscribers to a Listserv. The minutes and
announcements of meeting are now being placed on the Kappa Delta Listserv.
Kappa Delta members can now read these e-mails, as well as sending announcements
of their own to other members. This project should prove to be very successful
for a long time, because practically all of the members indicated they will use
e-mail to get access to Kappa Delta information.
